The Joint Admission Matriculation Board, JAMB general cut off mark is 160. Candidate that score 160 can apply for Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University POST UTME.

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Admission Requirements for 2024/2025 Academic Session

Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into ATBU through JAMB (UTME):

1. A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.
2. Candidate Must Choose ATBU As their First Choice of Institution.
3. Candidate Must Participate in ATBU POST UTME/SCREENING to be considered for admission.
4. Candidates must score at least 160 in the just concluded JAMB UTME examination to be offered admission into the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University.
5. The Candidate Should choose the correct JAMB subject combination for your course.
6. Candidates must have reached the age of 16.

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Admission Requirements for Direct Entry

1. A minimum of 5 credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level Credits in a maximum of 2 sittings.
2. Candidates must have an ‘A’ level/IJMB pass in two subjects that are related to their area of study.
3. JUPEB/A’ Level passes in Related subjects.
4. Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields for your course of choice.
5. Direct entry candidates are required to purchase the ATBU Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) And ATBU Portal.
6. A minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND) and other Advanced Level Certificates.
