Alih Caleb, a 100-level student of Confluence University of Science and Technology, CUSTECH who was abducted earlier this month has been killed by the kidnappers along with James Michael, a 100-level student, after requesting a ransom of 200 million naira.
Remember that on the 9th of May 2024 around 9 pm, a group of students who were preparing for their first-semester exam that was supposed to commence on the 13th of April 2024 were abducted by kidnappers. Some students managed to escape, some students were rescued by the DSS and the local vigilante. Some of the bandits were killed while some of the DSS were injured.

On May 22 students of Confluence University of Science and Technology visited His Royal Majesty, Alhaji Dr. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje asking for the intervention of the remaining students.

3 Damisa Rashidat.
She’s a 100-level student studying microbiology
4 Oluruntoba Blessing.
A 300-level student in the Department of Chemistry.
5 Obakachi Mashkura Onyioza .
100-level student studying software engineering.
6 Muhammed Abdulmalik
He’s a 100-level student studying Information Technology.
7 Godswill
Godswill is a 100-level student studying software engineering.
8 Hassan
Hasan is also a 100-level student studying software engineering.
Ali Caleb, the killed abducted student will be buried on the 30th of May in his hometown, Agaliga-Imane, Olamaboro Local Government, Kogi state.
There is no information yet about Confluence University of Science and Technology’s resumption date.
