Introduction

The Kogi State University, Kabba was established in June 2023 by the state government during the regime of the former governor, Alhaji Yahya Adoza Bello. The University is located in the western part of the state along Okene-Kabba express way. Prof Kehinde Imisi Temitope Eniola is the Vice Chancellor of the notable University. The University was approved by the National Universities Commission, NUC on 26th June 2023. It’s the 62nd approved state university in Nigeria by the National Universities Commission. The approved letter was signed by the NUC secretary, Professor Abubakar Adamu Rasheed.
The National Universities Commission also approved 24 programs in the school. The school now has Three (3) faculties and 25 programs.
